Postcards from the Edge

So everyone sees it: Off to Lala-Land from September 23rd to October 4th. Hiatus, meaning not here, somewhere else!
One more day of work tomorrow and then I'm off on vacation afterwards! *runs in circles* I'll get picked up in the afternoon and depending on how things go Le Crush will either stay the night or we'll drive down to his place.
Since some of you asked: I'll stay close to Mainz, that's in the Southwest of Germany. We originally planned on attending a Larp, but that was cancelled. Trying to find a replacement right now, but if that doesn't work out it'll be sightseeing, landscape and some movies and shows on DVD. And figuring out where things go, but more on that later. ;)
I'll be back on October 4, not sure if I'll manage to catch up with everyone - throw me important must-see links, will ya? *g*
I'll also miss some birthdays, so here's your chance to make a wish for an icon. *g*

Anyway, I managed to finish these - no requests possible this time around, obviously. ;)

So, Monday. I really need to try to go to bed early today, sleep is somewhat elusive lately. ;D
Job thing still undecided, looks like I'm on unpaid 'probation' - fingers crossed then that it isn't all for nothing.
I finally managed to finish the graphics for one of my help_haiti auctions - ten icons for pokecharm. :D I'm putting them here to show them off (because they were fun to make *g*), but they're not shareable per her request, so please don't take. pokecharm, hope you like them! :D

Still no job news, so I suppose it's Monday then. *twiddles thumbs some more*
I'm gradually going through the "Star Trek" (new movie, just in case you're confused ;D) special features (to make caps for the Zach and Zoe sites) - so much love for that cast! :D
And I'm not sure I've mentioned it, but a dear friend turned me into a Gemma Arterton fangirl, and now I'm totally hot for next year's Prince of Persia and Clash of the Titans. *g* /random
And a request: Does anyone of you happen to have the Esquire (UK) July 2009 issue? I'd need some scans from it for a friend. :D
