Postcards from the Edge

Or Happy Weekend. *g* I spent the day sleeping, mostly, and lying in the sun. Which actually wasn't the plan, but yeah.
I was still having occasional problems with my circulation, so I had my bloodwork done last week, still waiting for the results. It took five attempts by three people to actually hit a vein. *wrinkles nose* Otherwise all is fine and dandy, for the most part. ;)
Btw, I've cut a few journals recently, mostly ones that haven't been updated in a while - or appeared that way. That said, I'm really okay with people keeping me out of reading filters, you'll have your reasons. *g* But just in case: If you want to defriend me because things have changed and we've driftet apart or I'm whiny and boring as of late - do it. No hard feelings, really. :)
Anyway, for the colour - made this. Header for the Western RPG, basically our main characters based on how active they are. *g*

I have a song partly stuck in my head - and I can't figure out which one it is. I don't even get enough of the lyrics together to search for them. *stomps foot* It's probably not even a great song... *mumbles*
We've got a few of these days recently that I love about autumn: Clear sky, sunshine, freezing cold. I could do without the latter being that freezing, but I suppose actually dressing a bit warmer would help. Sort of.
Look, there's Henry Cavill again. And if you wouldn't have guessed from the writing - as a Medicus in Arthurian times. ;)

Weird Monday, really. This morning the bus driver almost didn't stop for me (Hey, I'm not that small. Though it was more funny than annoying.) and on the way home some guy either tried to steal my used tissue OR to feel up my leg. I didn't approve of either possibility, and kindly asked him to remove his hand, thankyouverymuch. Gee.
Random, but I've ventured into the world of drawing by hand for themiddleearth - a dress for Galadriel. *g* It didn't place, but I'm not surprised. I've slapped this together in five minutes, but it was fun nonetheless. :D

Free day definitely was a good idea. Especially after deciding to down some cough syrup last night for better sleep (10 hours!) - strong stuff, that. I'm still half knocked out and we're closing in to nap time again. Bzzzz. *g*
Anyhoo... as leeloo3's bday was yesterday there's some kind of party involved too! And as her official herald I'm announcing it here: You're cordially invited on Saturday, August 28th, around 6pm. Latecomers will be left unfed. :P This goes out especially to takayajd, the_milky_way, eumelkeks, wickedground and coffeestudies, but if you're around the corner and feel like dropping by it won't be a problem, I've been told. ;)

The concert yesterday was awesome. It was already fun getting there, because you could tell who was headed for the concert. AC/DC T-shirts whereever you looked. *g* We had to pass three hours, but it was quite entertaining to watch everyone there - all types of people. The concert itself was great, they played some of the songs everyone knows and some... other stuff. Angus Young did a striptease. *g* Just like some of the girls in the crowd as soon as they were on screen.
I didn't have my camera with me, so all we have are some pics from leeloo3's phone - but better than nothing. *g* Was home around 1am, and surprisingly I'm not half deaf today. :D
