mataI really didn't want to fall into the habit of only posting when there's bad or sad news, but I can't just not post this...
I had to say goodbye to Pityu today. The last few days he was getting worse. He barely could walk or stand anymore and he looked just so weary. So we took him to the vet and he was put gently to sleep. I know it was the right decision, but even though I knew this day would come - he was around 19 years old after all - it still hurts quite a lot. I want to cuddle him. I expect him to traipse around the corner any minute. He was with me half my life and it's just so strange to think he's not there anymore.
Sleep well, my little teddy bear. I'll miss you so much.
