Postcards from the Edge

Daylight savings... pffft! I woke up to the alarm (gym course, can't miss) and wondered why I felt so tired after eight hours of sleep, until I realized (a good 30 Minutes later) that I actually only slept seven hours. No fair!
Other than that the weekend was relaxed, or as some would call it: Boring. I can live with that. *g*

The birthday yesterday was cute and was a nice opportunity to see my siblings again, just wish I weren't that tired. Same today, and I could claim that sleep is elusive, but mostly it's me not going to bed early enough. ;)
Anyhoo, I got the car for this week and rediscovered just how much I love driving. I never drove an automatic before, but got used to it quickly - besides the occasional twitching when I want to change the non-existant gear. *g*
In other news, I'm a bloody ol' fool and here's something different, RPG graphics wise. ;)

I just learned that our family has a new member since two weeks - my cousin gave birth to a girl. We didn't even know she was pregnant. o.O I just hope it works out better this time - cross fingers. ;D
Anyhoo... meet my themiddleearth personality. *g* She's actually an RPG character I used, an accident-prone librarian not keen on the world outside of Rivendell. ;)

My attempt to take Pityu out before the football madness starts failed spectacularly - the madness never really ended. I swear, if he pees on the carpet I'll go out there and grab the first crazy person I see to clean it up. Ha!
Speaking of crazy persons: I got yelled at again. Different customer, same level of annoying. Is there something in the water?
But, good times anyway! I was weak and got myself a shiny Xbox. *pats it* I already have a game, Mass Effect 2, but was strictly forbidden to play it before the first one. *twiddles thumbs*

It's probably an unpopular opinion around here, but I can't say I'm overly fond of football season. In large part thanks to a shivering furball who, while trying to hide, regularly places his butt right over the electrical outlets in my room. Silly goggie. Anyway, I feel like marching out every evening and hit some of those idjits making noise and setting off crackers over the head with something. *growls*

I wanted to write something intelligent (not), but all I can think of right now is CRAMP! in my right foot. Getting old here. Happens often lately, I guess I really need some sort of diet plan (for proper nutrition, mind you, not losing weight *hands on hips*). I'm also contemplating to start kickboxing classes. I think I'm going insane.

Anyway, things to do and stuff, and I have a plea for you Americans with scanners. ;) I might have mentioned the Gemma Arterton site I'm working on with my friend Mariana, and Gemma's featured in (at least) three mags over there right now: Vogue, InStyle and Details. If you happen to have those lying around would you be able to scan them for us? *flutters eyelashes*
Speaking of Gemma leads me to Prince of Persia leads me to... rawwr. Seriously now.
