so I watched the whole movie yesterday and must say that it didn't felt like four hours... that's always a good sign :D

And in general I really loved it! Except the fact that there aren't any extended Arwen/Elrond scenes - which, in my opinion, was needed - I was satisfied. Sure, one or two scenes seemed pointless, but they didn't disturb the whole experience.

Among the new/extended scenes my favourites are definately the Paths of the Dead and Aragorn's handling of the Palantir. Houses of Healing were way too short.

Well, I'm still collecting my thoughts on it, so maybe later there is more... meanwhile... the caps...
