For the record: I enjoyed Clash of the Titans. *ducks tomatoes* ;D
Having a Gemma Arterton site I've read most of the reviews out there (which somewhat lowered my expectations), but after watching the film I partly wonder if I've seen the same one as some of them. There were points those reviewers bashed that weren't even in the movie. *scratches head* For example, I thought it was quite clear that Acrisius and Calibos are the same person, yet someone wrote of a 'missed opportunity' by not making it clear. Eh?
Anyway, of course that movie isn't a masterpiece, but I don't think anyone ever claimed it to be. ;) I actually thought it was too rushed (especially when I had problems to figure out who of the soldiers just died), and I'm hoping for a director's cut on DVD. *g*
One of the 'worst movies ever' - I don't think so. That honor still goes to the likes of 'In the Name of the King' and 'Eragon'. Speaking of the latter... (see what I did there? :P)
