The Travelling Scrapbook

Today was a short and therefor not as tiring day as the rest of the week. Apparently we worked fast *pats self on shoulder*. And despite my hands and arms looking like I played with a bunch of razor blades, my aching feet and the absence from the laptop I must say that I actually have fun at work. Just because I'm getting along with two of the girls there who happen to be quite funny. And loud. They're keeping me sane, along with you sweeties showing me that you care *blows kisses*.

Yet I didn't get anything done o.O. I'm confusing myself with my way of going through the friends page, sorry if I missed something! *peers* And I downloaded caps from 12 Monkeys for icons, but I'm not going to finish them today, seeing that I didn't even start yet *whistles*. Thus I'll whip out my Plan B post. This one. *flails arms* Still with me?

For the warming up a meme that I've seen all over.

TrustFlow II: Who is closest to your friends list?

Attentionspan-test: The important part of this post.
This is something [livejournal.com profile] elrawien is doing at the moment and she kindly allowed me to borrow her idea, since I absolutely love it.
Basically it is me sending a scrapbook out to someone who is interested to take part, who has one or two pages to do anything with (well, maybe except ripping them out) and then sends it to the next person on the not yet existing list.
This will take some more planning of course, but for now I'd like to know if there's anyone interested at all and who would that be. Maybe with telling me where you live, too. I know it in some cases, but not all, and it would help to come up with a decent route for the book without sending it back and forth over large distances ;).
Furthermore tell me in advance if you have any problems with your address being given out to a stranger not on your flist, as this might be necessary. If there's interest, that is. *blows more kisses*

The scrapbook idea sounds interesting! I'd be up for it, and I can always use my work address (as packages are less likely to get lost on their way there) and I'm fine with that one being given out for this. For reference, I'm in Los Angeles. :)

Great that it is getting better at work!^^

:) glad to hear today was better than the last two :) do you work Monday to Friday, or do you get tomorrow off? I hope tomorrow is off - you need some rest, the poke kind is best, but you'll have to manage :p

12 monkeys? your movie tastes always seem to surprise me :p but Brad and Burce are easy on the eyes ;) especailly Bruce ;)

that meme had me really scrathcing my head...the money is where now?

you always come up with the most interesting memes - I still love the postcard one from this summer, or was it fall? anyway, I know nothing about scrapbooking but I'm always happy to participate :) though I don't know that I know enough to be all in or not :p

*poke snuggles* is it nap time yet?

[identity profile] pokecharm.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 05:22 pm (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] elrawien.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 05:26 pm (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] icequeen3101.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 05:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Glad to hear you're not as tired today *hee*

That list looks very confusing ... I'll have to try it out soon *lol*

Oooh, and the scrapbook thing sounds great, I'd love to participate & promise to not held it back for months *loool* ;D

[identity profile] ladyarwen241.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 05:44 pm (UTC)(link)
*glomps* yay!at least your not tired and yay for getting along with colleagues :))

mmh i think i sort of got the meme cos i just read the explanation!LOL!its simply people who are on your friends f-list but that are not on yours!i guess they just count the interests or something like that...never mind!

as for the scrapbook...*scratches head*...i dont know really...mostly cos i have no idea what it is about and to whom it should be destined?but i guess you could count me in?lol!dont know...but it s not a problem for me about the addy just in case ;) ah and...you know where i live dont you?!lol!i dont remember!eheh!

[identity profile] kathrinchen.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 05:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Die Idee find ich gut ;) Ich wäre dabei ^^

[identity profile] pokecharm.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 05:51 pm (UTC)(link)
I haven't seen it everywhere...but I think we both know Americans don't get the best education...so it might be something that is just beyond us *poke hugs* I know I'm not that smart, you I expected to get it and tell me...so what's your excuse!

[identity profile] icequeen3101.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 05:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I kinda get it ...
it has people on it I see frequently in communities, who share many interests & who seem to be interesting.

The first 5 - 10 rows of my meme had people on it whose names were REALLY familar to me *lol*

So .. it's probably the same for you guys...
I had some of those people even friended, but it didn't work out ... so ... bye bye *g*

I can't really explain it (or understand it for that matter) but it makes sense... kinda *loool* ;D

[identity profile] elle-4you.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 05:55 pm (UTC)(link)
You crack me up, cause there's a whole page of info explaining what the meme does. *giggles* Just looks who your friends have listed as friends most and compares them, so you get kind of a list you could use as a suggestion who you might wanna friend. Lowest number meaning, most likely match.

Glad you're also having fun with the new job. In a way it's more important to have people you have fun with then the job itself being fun! Atleast in my experience.

And count me in for the book! I am a little nervouw about your f-list being so big and who I'd have to send it to or give my adress, but I'll deal. LOL! The idea is too much fun to miss out.

[identity profile] pokecharm.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 06:11 pm (UTC)(link)
thanks for explaining that *poke hugs* but I'm still confused about the numbers...but I guess that clears it up to at least not being completely random :p

[identity profile] padabee.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Woot, wonderful =D
There are 11 people interested so far, so it's most likely to happen :)

[identity profile] idiosyncratic.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Yaye!!

[identity profile] padabee.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 06:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed, I hate to feel down for silly reasons^^ *huggles back*

[identity profile] padabee.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
*chuckles* it's harmless, I swear! Just a lot of more or less sharp edges resulting in minor cuts ;)

Me neither, but I was told there's a whole page of explaining everything!

Yay!!

[identity profile] ireth-e.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
*hugs*
The scrapbook idea seems very interesting..but don't count me in. Because of our post office-too unreliable :(
Tomorrow is Friday,hon-fibnally! :) Will you work on the weekend?

[identity profile] padabee.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 06:44 pm (UTC)(link)
I was told that the numbers are representing the 'compatibility', low numbers are good, high numbers are 'bad'... lol

[identity profile] padabee.livejournal.com 2006-03-30 06:47 pm (UTC)(link)
*chuckles* YAY! *smooches*
